We have a lot of work ahead with plans to plant Fruit trees, Raspberries, Blueberries, Grapes, and a large garden. Planning and planting an all important Windbreak/Shelterbelt for wildlife and for some protection from the almost continual winds that we are blessed with, out here on the West Plains. We hope to raise Organic food and to be free of as many chemicals as possible.
Willow Winds Pomeranian's is a family effort. We have been raising AKC Poms since 2003. In 2006, we changed our name from Valleypoms to Willow Winds Pomeranians and started our web site, which we have enjoyed greatly. We love the Pomeranian breed, they are smart, friendly, beautiful and playful. We raise healthy, beautiful American Kennel Club Registered Pomeranian's only. Our Poms are raised in our homes, as our pets, they are not caged nor in a kennel, we make them part of our family's daily life. Our puppies stay with us until after they are 12 weeks old.
As of March 2009, all of our puppies will receive 3 puppy shots, Rabies vaccination, checked for parasites (worms and Giardia) and a Health Evaluation from our Vet. She checks their heart, lungs, legs, mouth, skin, looks for soft spots and checks the overall structure of the puppy. We will post the result on the puppies page. All of our puppies will have their Registration Application with the American Kennel Club. Some of our puppies will be Registered with AKC and will receive a Micro-chipped before they leave.
We will make available, each puppy's Socialization Chart, showing all they were made familiar with at each stage in their 12 weeks. The most critical time to make sure your puppy is socialized, is from about 3 weeks to around 12 weeks of age. This period of development is referred to as their Socialization Period. We feel this is very important for all of our puppies well-being, helping to make them better pets for their new owners.
Our puppies are smart, socialized, and make perfect family pets and lifetime best friends. We strive to breed as close to the AKC Standard as we can. Hoping someday to raise future Champions for the Show Ring.
